i have wondered about aliens and cryptos for a long time wondering where they could be from and why we cant find ones like bigfoot, mothman, etc... and then i started thinking about the movie the mist.... msybe they are from an alternate reality. somehow a gateway opened and they tumbled through. and maybe its the same way with the aliens. maybe they cant really travel faster than light speed and are just neighbors from and alternate dimension. and maybe that is what heavena dn hell really are. ust alternate realities that our spirits travel to when we die. any feedback on this would be apprciated.

Well, work on the interdimensional or muldimensional hypotheses have been done by some astrophysicists. Instead of thinking of aliens as space visitors, Jacques Vallee links UFOs, aliens, to paranormal, psychic and spiritistic manifestations.

As an alternative to the extraterrestrial visitation hypothesis, Vallée has suggested a multidimensional visitation hypothesis. This hypothesis represents an extension of the ETH (extraterretrial hypothesis) where the alleged extraterrestrials could be potentially from anywhere. The entities could be multidimensional beyond space-time, and thus could coexist with humans, yet remain undetected.

They can appear and disappear at will, create virtual reality scenarios, be visible to a person in a place while invisible to other people in the same area. The other odd stuff is their ability to go through walls, appear as orange lights, blue lights etc., and manipulate space and time in strange ways. Therefore many have linked them to the spirit dimension.

Well mothman was sighted in west virginia for a few weeks and no believable reports of him have been made since. So, if he was real, I would assume he is gone by now, which would explain why no one can find him.

All evidence of bigfoot turns out to be a hoax. The holy grail of bigfoot sightings was the patterson-gimlin film which several people have confessed to taking part in the making of that film, including the guy who wore the costume.

I would say if there is evidence of aliens, they might be from an alternate set of dimensions. I don't know if I buy into the alternate reality concept outside of sci-fi. Alternate realities would be the result of time-travel paradox, and I don't believe paradox is possible in time travel. Its fine to contemplate what would happen if you went back and murdered yourself, but you didn't, nor will you. How do I know? Because your here and the murder would have taken place in the past.

I don't know why everyone is so keen on these alternate realities, what is wrong with the reality we have here and now?. If you are born anywhere that you have the education and the resources to be on line asking frivolous questions surely your reality can't be so awful that you'd rather it infested with aliens and mythical animals?

Anyway you don't need to worry about any of the things that are non existent in our perfectly good reality- until we have some evidence, aliens, mothman, bigfoot and their mates are all imaginary.

That's pretty much the story line of the show "Fringe". It's nice for fiction but useless in reality.

In this case you're theorizing (making excuses) for why there's a lack of evidence. Your theory is all encompassing, covering UFOs, bigfoot and an afterlife.

If you would ever like to have a serious talk about that sort of stuff you should come to our forum. We are sooooo into cryptozoology. It a fun topic and one many of us there enjoy.
