An astrologer predicted that all my woes are gonna end in 2014 and i am gonna have a very favourable time. But complete opposite is happening to me. I am falling very sick again. Can astrological predictions be wrong?

There are many parts to us. We have astrology, DNA, memory, emotions and more. These are what I call, "shackles that bound you to the human experience:" I can't say for sure if they are real or not. Time repeats itself over and over again. So, the same energies keeps returning in cycles. So, if they can read the cycles correctly, then yes, most of the time, they will be right. Sometimes we follow after what DNA codes tell us. From what I can tell, they maybe a false reader.

The strange thing about predictions, astrological or otherwise, is that they can very easily become self-fulfilling prophecies. In other words, you can make them come true, or you can interpret real events in such a way that they seem to have come true.

For instance, "all your woes are gonna end in 2014" -- you might have an accident that kills you: sure your woes are at an end, and it might be "favourable"....

Having done the astrology thing, I can say that my predictions has about an 80% (or higher) accuracy rate. But, before you link that to the astrology part, most of my predictions were based on reading the person, not the stars. I'd make the predictions for things they wanted to happen, and that they were already in the process of making happen.

(note: my version was for entertainment, not because I'm a great astrologer or psychic, and never intended to be more than just a giving people permission to do what they were going to do regardless.)

Think of it this way: the stars are impersonal, and they don't give a damn about what you want, think or what you can do!

I would not put all my faith in each and every astrological "prediction" as though it may be possible to make such extraordinary predictions using astrology, not everyone is right in interpreting the information . As well, if they said that all of your woes are gonna end in 2014, you may give it a little time as it is still 2013 and it could be that it may be towards the end of 2014 that their prediction unfolds. Good luck and take care.

P.S.

If you are sick , it's always a very good idea to consult with someone in the medical profession and I would recommend doing so if you are.

Astrology is not just your sun signs. It is about the day, time and place you were born. The position of heavenly bodies including Sun, Moon, Planets et all have a profound effect on your personality traits etc. These affect the course of your life. Similarly for your spouse. When astrologers match horoscopes, they check out on compatibility. Yes I believe in the Hindu astrology. It is a highly scientific method. The astrologer casting your horoscope should be good. Also the astrologer interpreting it during some point in your life must be good. I did not believe in Astrology. I do now.

All the time. You cannot make prediction apart from lucky guesses and the obvious.

Anyone with proof that they can, publish the method for proof. I know they cannot and that is not a prediction.

Astrological predictions are Hogwash with a capital h.

Of course, astrology is no more accurate than a blindfolded monkey throwing darts.

The charlatans that practice it just tell you what they think you want to hear - obviously you want to hear that things will get better so that is what he/she said.

I hope if you are sick you are seeing a proper doctor and not relying on quacks and liars to help you.

OF course they can be wrong.
