Alright, so, i haven't really been one to wakeup abruptly, but there have been two instances in the past 2 weeks where i wakeup, terrified, gasping for air, or being lightheaded, with an abnormally fast heart rate... I've already did some background research on things that could cause it, and i got two answers... Night terrors, or Demons attacking me in my dreams, im having symptoms of both... The first time, i had a horrible dream that i remember every detail about, but woke up to what it felt like someone was grabbing a hold of my neck, trying to suffocate me...which had absolutely nothing to do with my dream... now, its 4 a.m. here, i just woke up tonight, and this stuff is reallllly getting to me, enough to make me feel the need to ask something like this.... tonight, i layed down for what seemed like a lifetime, i fell asleep, to only wakeup 1 hour later (3a.m.) i felt a weird tingling sensation surrounding my head, and in my dreams, i felt my body flailing, i woke up (half conscious) and i was screaming as loud as i could for help, i felt like i woke the whole house up, only to findout,,, everyone is still sleeping... im a 20 year old kid....i got kicked out of my house over a month ago, i realize this may be signs of stress, or it could be the spiritual battle i've been dealing with the past 3 weeks. i live with a good christian family, and it seems that my dreams are getting more and more intense... im hoping someone out there may have an answer for me.... im not a psycho or nothing, and i never believed in **** like this, lol.... so, any kind of help will be appreciated, :)

The presence of demons for any extended period of time will virtually always reveal itself by certain symptoms, and you are not mentioning any of these. The demonic is capable of merely interfering in a dream but this is not likely unless there is some other trigger cause, and again you have not specifically mentioned anything which should be such a trigger. Your "spiritual battle", while possible would need more details to possibly qualify. I would thus lean towards calling what you are experiencing to be Night Terrors. However, if you are convinced it is demonic in origin, I would suggest sleeping with an open Bible beside your bed.

i've got confidence in any existence there are good and undesirable strategies. In a semi concious state this is a place the place your innovations is attempting to type all of it out. The angels and demons may be metaphors for those selections on your existence. a great rest CD or calming song which includes an Indian flute type of song, alongside with aroma scientific care which includes lavender or jasmine will enable you to get in a tranquil and relaxing approach earlier drifting off to sleep. attempt to be taught a place the place you have been once you're satisfied and calm and think of roughly it.

Sounds like stress and bad dreams to me. If any of the negative stuff in your life is putting a lot of stress on you that could explain the suffocation feeling. One thing I do know about demons though is that they love to torment people who have a lot of bad/negative experiences, suffer or have suffered from depression, have stressful home situations, anything at all like that. It's possible that they are fighting for the bad end of what you call a spiritual dilemma. One I can only assume is you learning about the christian faith from the family you are living with. The devil fights for only those of us trying to find God, faith, and happiness in ways that don't involve him.

Feel free to email me if your having anymore issues.

Ive suffered night terrors for 2 years of my adult life until they stopped. The only sign that could tell me if I was having a night terror was either my husband would see me flailing and kicking and wake me up, or if I found bruises or cuts the next day that resembled self-affliction. If you remember your night mare or are aware of it then it is not a night terror. If it is a demon you need to see help.

You should move in with a good atheist family instead, you'll probably still have horrible dreams but at least you won't imagine that they are caused by mythical beings.

Yes, you are probably stressed.
