*Reincarnation is the religious or philosophical concept that the soul or spirit, after biological death, begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life's actions. This doctrine is a central tenet of the Indian religions[1] and is a belief that was held by such historic figures as Pythagoras, Plato and Socrates. It is also a common belief of pagan religions such as Druidism, Spiritism, Theosophy, and Eckankar and is found in many tribal societies around the world, in places such as Siberia, West Africa, North America, and Australia.[2]

Although the majority of sects within Judaism, Christianity and Islam do not believe that individuals reincarnate, particular groups within these religions do refer to reincarnation; these groups include the mainstream historical and contemporary followers of Kabbalah, the Cathars, and the Shia sects such as the Alawi Shias and the Druze[3] and the Rosicrucians.[4] The historical relations between these sects and the beliefs about reincarnation that were characteristic of the Neoplatonism, Orphism, Hermeticism, Manicheanism and Gnosticism of the Roman era, as well as the Indian religions, is unclear.

In recent decades, many Europeans and North Americans have developed an interest in reincarnation.[5] Feature films, such as Kundun, What Dreams May Come and Birth, contemporary books by authors such as Carol Bowman and Vicki Mackenzie, as well as popular songs, regularly mention reincarnation. Some university researchers, such as Ian Stevenson and Jim B. Tucker, have explored the issue of reincarnation and published reports of children's memories of earlier lives in peer-reviewed journals and in books such as Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation and Life Before Life. Skeptics are critical of this work and many, like Carl Sagan, have stated that more reincarnation research is needed.[6]

I hope I understood your question....? Seemed you were asking for any evidence, on the process, and there are many books, research studies along with case histories- The first really famous one was "The search for Bridey Murphy."

I have done and had past life regressions. I know we reincarnate, in many other dimensions, experiences besides here (on Earth). Those less evolved will have little awareness...because they are still working on the "basics." It's too much for them to deal with other lifetimes.

Some people have remembered a lifetime, place, even have insights into experiences or relationships..They will feel they were born too early or late, prefer certain cultures (other than their own), feel uncomfortable in their bodies/race/gender, love vintage, eras, or certain historical events have special meaning, etc.

The Lord Jesus Christ taught that we live only once (Matthew 25:46) and that Salvation is found only through Him (John 6:35; John 8:12; John 14:6; John 10:9-11). The Bible does not teach the false doctrine of reincarnation. The doctrine of reincarnation is a cleaver lie of Satan who wants to deceive us into thinking that we could achieve salvation and liberation through our works/deeds and not by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ (the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead) never taught or mentioned reincarnation. Some believe that in Matthew 11:7-14, Jesus meant that the prophet Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist. Jesus called John the Baptist Elijah because John the Baptist came in the “spirit and power of Elijah”. The Bible is very clear on this:

Luke 1:17

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

In addition, John the Baptist himself specifically said he was not Elijah:

John 1:21

And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you that prophet? And he answered, No.

The Holy Spirit (the 3rd Person of the Triune Godhead) said that many would fall for doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1) and reincarnation is definitely a demonic doctrine. Demons are fallen angels and spirits of Nephilim. These beings make up Satan’s army and are bent on leading humans to destruction.

Persons who claim they were having memories of past lives are either not telling the truth or were actually receiving visions from evil spirits who have been around for thousands of years.

Demons implant memories in the minds of humans to make them believe in reincarnation, one of Satan’s key deceptions. A demon who lived in the body of a certain person, shared the same experiences and memories of that person. If that demon enters another person, that demon can transfer their memories to their new host. If the person doesn’t know the truth, they will think that they had lived previous lives. Demons can gain the right of way to enter a person when they practice sin. Allowing oneself to be hypnotized, taking drugs and practicing yoga are easy ways to becoming possessed by evil spirits. Demons can also enter an unborn foetus if one or both parents have unrepented sin.

Reincarnation is a false teaching – humans are given only one physical life (Hebrews 9:27). The Lord Jesus said that the human being’s afterlife state whether torment or paradise, will be eternal (Matthew 25:46). In the original text, the Greek word for eternal, “aiōnion” is used. He didn’t say that we would be born again and again until we got it right and received liberation. He would not have made that huge sacrifice for us if we could have had unity to God another way, and if there was another way, He would have taught that. The Lord said He could have employed legions of angels to prevent His crucifixion (Matthew 26:53), but because of His great and perfect love for humanity, He chose to endure a very painful death so we could be redeemed and united to God.

A Look at the Word, "Aionion"

https://carm.org/look-word-aionion

The pre-existence of the soul is also a false doctrine. We didn’t always exist with God. Our bodies AND our spirits were created by God.

Zechariah 12:1

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).

Without God, the spiritual part of the human being is dead (Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13). The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) caused the separation between God and man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin causes us to be separated from God which results in spiritual death. Christ, the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead was made flesh (through the immaculate conception) and paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross so we could through faith in Christ as our Saviour be instantly redeemed and united to God and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, comforts us and grants us fruits to live in righteousness and gifts to help and edify the Church. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord.

A person becomes a Christian through faith. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as one's Saviour grants the believer God's forgiveness, redemption, adoption by God, salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit ( the 3rd person of the Triune Godhead).

REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood. Come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"

Dr. Ian Stevenson's work and books are compelling, but the sheer amount is overwhelming.

Brian Weiss' "Many Lives, Many Masters" book is recorded evidence, I believe, and very emotional.

Near Death Experiences are anecdotal evidence and suggestive of reincarnation.

I like the story (cant find the link) Of the toddler taken through an Air and Space Museum, with all the planes hanging from the roof, and knew all the names of the japanese and american planes that fought in the pacific -but not european- war. Story went like

Mom: "wow! look at that giant bomb on THAT one!"

baby: "That's not a bomb, mommy, that's a drop tank"

Mom: ".. a what?"

Baby: "kind of.. like an extra fuel tank you use to fly farther, that you can Pickle... um.. throw away when bad guys show up"

.. Mom and museum tour guide seriously intrigued, started asking about all the planes there.

[walks up to a picture of a "Nakagima Shen II" plane]

Baby: "I don't know the Naka.. name, we called that a Nate."

Baby: "That one is a Val, that one is a Betty, that one an Oscar, thats a George" [all correct, some rather obscure]

[looking at an F4F wildcat]

Baby: "I didnt like that plane"

[F6F Hellcat]

"that one was FAST, mommy!"

[P-38 Lightning]

"That one sounded like BOom-ta-ta-BOom-ta-ta-BOom-ta-ta when it shooted- it made me laugh" [p38 had 20mm cannons and .50 cal machine guns]

So on and so on. Creepy. Some details that are not even in books, encyclopedias and stuff.. like this kid was a WW2 navy Fighter Pilot or something, and still had ..SOME.. of the details. No name or squadron he was in or anything like that.

Anyways, thats a pretty good case of reincarnation proof. There are other toddler information stories like this, but all the stuff the babies apparently knew are lost when they got just a little bit older. So its hard to study.

I just wish that baby could have named his squadron number or something, and was showed some archived photo of HIM standing by his airplane... wonder what the baby would have said about THAT?

Children's accounts of past lives is seriously studied. Children often speak of previous lives, but in our society they are actively discouraged from doing so. The University of Virginia School of Medicine has had an on-going study of these accounts for over 50 years.

I think you'll find that the baby that liked planes isn't really such compelling proof of reincarnation if you look a little closer.

Anyway since memories are stored in the brain and the brain is destroyed at death how could anyone possibly remember anything from a previous life?

point of this life is to get to heaven. in the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God (Father + Holy Spirit), and the Word (Jesus) was God. dead are in heaven or hell. so-called hauntings/ghosts are demons fooling around. within 3 days after you die, you visit places you love. then you go through 20 ordeals to see if you go to heaven. if you pass all 20, you'll go to heaven. regardless, you'll be shown heaven and hell. all this occurs within 40 days of death. most people fail to pass heresy ordeal. a buddhist who led a nice life can't pass it and goes to hell. reincarnation and karma are demonic lies. dreams are from the devil most of the time. don't believe in dreams. aborted babies go to hell for 33 years. any unrepented sin leads to hell. pale gay red-eyed flying antichrist rules from jerusalem. euro is his currency. demons fly in ufo ships. no aliens exist. nobody lives on other planets. 666 tattoo by lasers is given when people stretch hands to receive small grey plastic world passport. police will laser people on the highways. food stores will be set up to laser people too. rfid chips and electronic tattoos are used to track people to laser them. unforgivable sins are: suicide, worship of antichrist, and 666 tattoo by lasers. pray to Jesus to save you from hell.
