I've heard that more people are born on a full-moon night than on a regular night. Can anyone show me proof?

If someone can tell me how many births there have been on each day of a particular year (any year) then I will be able to work it out.
Thanks!

Since there has been discovered a device that will measure tidal attraction in a teacup, it's not too difficult to see that during a full moon, when it's gravitational pull is at it's greatest, that it also pulls the fluids of the body, including having an effect on hormone production, which can trigger birth.

My OB nursing instructor swears that this is true, and the nurses at the hospital where I do my classes say it also. To the best of my knowledge, no formal study on this phenomenon has been done. However, similiar studies regarding crime waves during the lunar cycle have failed to demonstrate any correlation. I would imagine that this is just superstition also.

There is also one more thing - Most of them who are born on a full moon night will be agressive

Hospitals indicated more children are born during a full moon, saysing it has to do with gravitational pull. At least that's what i heard.

Unlikely, since there are more non-full moon days than full moon days.

The census bureau will have that information. Since they would only be giving you numbers and not private information it should be easy to get.

No. It's simply an urban myth.

There isn't a correlation.
