the point of living is to live- to discover your hidden desires, what drives you, and then pursue it and fulfill yourself. And it doesn't matter what other people think of you; the only thing stopping yourself from being happy is your own questioning of why you should be happy at all. Life is beautiful, and sometimes pain can be beautiful too; you don't have to strive to change the world- the fact that you even exist, that you were born at all, has changed the world (you know, the moving one grain of sand thing). Just do what makes you happy (as long as that doesn't entail becoming a criminal...) and keep doing it. If other people disagree with it, it isn't your problem and it's not something you need to worry about. Trust me, it's their problem and it doesn't hurt you at all.

I think the search for what makes our lives meaningful to ourselves is the most wonderful learning experience you can take on- it's life long, and anything you touch, taste, smell, hear, or feel adds to it. Life is beautiful, no matter how it sucks. Just think how much worse it could be. :)

Like all other creatures in the world you to have to do your bit by doing your duties to fulfill your needs and of the family as well as the Society and on the whole the world / life itself.

you too can live without making any diffrence like other animals, since you are an HUMAN BEEING and have a mind of your own, to do some thing worth while and be recognised as a son of your father / Nation .

such as all super Politicians /Sports Persons / Teachers /Scientis / Enginers and Bussiness Men.

Like giving some thing to the world or the loved ones ,such as Mahatma GANDHI-Gave Indipendence to his Nation-Tiger made fame for the US in Golf , Ford gave Automobiles to the world.and the list is never ending ,and you could / should be one of them.

Your life -Living should be meeaning full then it is called worth while life lead by you ,which is called the point of living.Do you see my point

I finally realized that I won't fully understand the point of living until I am dead and in the spiritual realm.

It gets frustrating I know, I have had times I thinik....geesh I didn't ask to be born. But the key is that I am here and I can choose to be misserable or to do the best I can. Also, to realize that I am human and I will have down times etc

Since no-one knows, it's a matter of choice.

Personally I've favor reincarnation belief, since it gave me an explanation for how come my first-borne was brain-damaged though without any possibility of "sinning".

Put another way, the point of living is to get closer to God ( or God-hood).

Karen Blixen said: " You got to learn to love the fate God gave you". Good luck!

It's to gain knowledge and wisdom through life long experiences, to build up and store these within your spirit that lives on for all eternity.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Life is a gift from GOD, GOD made you.

You are on earth because you have a sinful nature, the purpose of life is to become righteouss, to find God, and not to be sinful.

Please accept Jesus as your personal saviour today, and fufill your destiny in God, the destiny he has planned for you.

Jesus died on the cross for YOUR sins if you believe in him.

Heaven and hell exist, if you dont get saved then you are going to hell because we have all sinned.

Please look at this link for info on how to get saved so you can go to Heaven:

The point is that you can experiment what life is and enjoy it and live your life the way you want it.

from an interview with stanley kubrick....

playboy: If life is so purposeless, do you feel it's worth living?

kubrick: yes, for those of us who manage somehow to cope with our mortality. the very meaninglessness of life forces man to create his own meaning. children, of course, begin life with an untarnished sense of wonder, a capacity to experience total joy at something as simple as the greenness of a leaf; but as the grow older, the awareness of death and decay begins to impinge on their consciousness and subtly erode their joie de vivre, their idealism - and their assumption of immortality. As a child matures, he sees death and pain everywhere about him, and begins to loose faith in the ultimate goodness of man. But if he's reasonably strong - and lucky - he can emerge from this twilight of the soul into a rebirth of life's elan. Both because of and in spite of his awareness of the meaninglessness of life, he can forge a fresh sense of purpose and affirmation. He may not recapture the same pure sense of wonder he was born with, but he can shape something far more enduring and sustaining. The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent; but if we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death - how ever mutable man may be able to make them - our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.

I think the point is to advance our species culturally, scientifically, genetically, more than it was in the previous generation.

Biologically, to be fruitful and multiply. Philosophically, because we don't know what the alternative is.

Besides, for most of us living is fun, we enjoy it.
